In recent years, extensive renovations were carried out to the school facilities which involved the building of a new classroom block with seven new classrooms, the construction of a multi-purpose hall with specialty rooms and a contemporary library. A new administration area was also established.
The school now has 24 classrooms, a Library, Learning Support Centre, Media Room, a dedicated Visual Arts room, along with a dedicated Music classroom. The school also has a Tuckshop, Administration area and Staff room. There are two playgrounds around the main school buildings, along with an extended oval.
As a contemporary learning environment, our facilities strive to provide a variety of flexible learning spaces for student learning, and these are enhanced by a range of teaching resources, as well as fixed and mobile technologies such as interactive whiteboards, laptops, digital cameras and iPads. A one-to-one laptop program commenced in 2015 so that students in Years 5 and 6 have increased opportunities to access individual devices.
Students at Our Lady Help of Christians School also have access to a wide range of the latest digital technologies such as Sphero Robotic balls, Bee Bots and Lego Robotics to introduce students to the coding component of the Australian Curriculum.
