The School Board plays a vital role in supporting the mission of Catholic education by fostering strong partnerships among the school, parish and diocesan communities. In collaboration with the Principal, Parish Priest and staff, Board members provide strategic leadership and guidance to the broader school community.

While the School Board exercises decision-making authority in designated policy areas, it also serves in an advisory capacity across other domains. All school policies are developed in alignment with the overarching mission of Catholic education and the teachings of the Catholic Church, with adherence to the principle of subsidiarity, ensuring that decisions are made at the most appropriate level.

The Principal retains responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the school.

The School Board actively works within the school community to identify, uphold and celebrate the school’s distinctive religious character or charism. Additionally, the Board supports initiatives led by school staff that are designed to enhance student learning outcomes, always in alignment with the school’s educational vision and mission.
